Härkis® dry fava bean crumb mix is a versatile cooking product made from Finnish fava beans. It is a rich source of protein (46%) and fibre (11%), making it a great way to add these to vegetarian dishes. The product is ready to use as is without the need for soaking or cooking. It is an ideal ingredient for patties, casseroles and soups, or even as croutons in salads. The crumb mix softens and swells up in liquid, which also makes it suitable thickening soups or baking.
