Ordering

1. Fresh produce ordering instructions
Fresh bread and buns are always shipped on Mondays. To ensure your order is shipped on Monday, please place your order by Thursday at 12:00 (Finnish time). Orders received after this time that include fresh bread will be shipped the following Monday. PLEASE ORDER FRESH PRODUCTS WITH FEDEX PRIORITY OR DHL EXPRESS DELIVERY! This way we can guarantee the freshness of the bakery products at the time of delivery.

2. I can't find the product I'm looking for in your selection?
If you can't find the product you want in our selection, you can contact us and we will see if it would be possible to add it to our selection. Most of the time this is successful! Please note that for new products it may take a few days before the product is available in the online store.

3. I would like to order full sales lots/boxes, is that possible?
If you need a larger quantity, please contact us at sales@exportsfromfinland.com and we can make a reseller agreement on a case-by-case basis.

4. Can I order from Suomikaupsta as a gift for a friend in Finland or abroad?
You can choose a separate billing address during checkout. We always aim to deliver gift orders with minimal price information.
If you wish, we can add a gift message of your choice to the recipient along with the package. You can leave the message in the comments field at checkout.

5. Do I have to pay customs duties?
Possible customs fees are NOT included in our prices. Please check the customs fees and restrictions of the delivery country before ordering. When shipping to EU countries, the order price includes taxes according to the legislation of the destination country. No taxes have been calculated for shipments outside the EU.

6. Can I pay only after I receive the products?
We will only start processing your order once payment has been received. We will remove orders from our system if they have not been paid for within 7 days of placing the order.

7. Can I order this product to my country?
Remember to check the shipping country restrictions before ordering just to be safe. Occasionally we notice an export restricted product before shipping, but it is worth checking the policies of each country before placing an order. Country-specific restrictions can be found here , for example.

8. When will my order be shipped?
Order processing takes 1-3 business days from the date of receipt of the order. If the order includes fresh bread and is placed before Thursday at 12:00 (Finnish time), the order will be shipped the following Monday. Orders containing fresh bread placed after this time will be transferred to the following Monday.

9. I forgot a product from my order, what can I do?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to change your order after payment. Changing your order requires canceling the previous order or you can place a new order.

10. Is there a missing or incorrect product in my order?
Sometimes we make mistakes, but we want to fix them! If there is an error in your order, please contact us by email at info@suomikauppa.fi . Please include your order number, the missing or incorrect products, and pictures if necessary. Products will be refunded or resent on a case-by-case basis.

11. I received a refund to my account, why?
If a product is not available, we will try to refund you before sending your order.

12. Can I order chocolate also in the summer?
Suomikauppa.fi delivers orders to a pickup point or to an address of your choice in cooperation with several courier companies. Deliveries are not separately protected from heat, e.g. with heat-insulating materials, so there is a possibility that chocolate products will melt in hot weather if they are exposed to heat during transport or at the pickup point. Suomikauppa.fi is not responsible for melted chocolate.

13. Why does the product I received look different than on the website?
Product images are for reference only and the final product may look different. We strive to keep product images up to date and as close to the actual product appearance as possible, but it is possible that an image of the old appearance of the product may remain on our website.

Delivery

1. Do you ship to my country?
We deliver packages to almost anywhere in the world! If you cannot find your destination country in the list, please contact our customer service .

2. How do I know the shipping costs for my package?
Shipping costs vary depending on the weight of the package and the shipping method. You can view shipping costs and shipping options at checkout after you have added your shipping address.

3. How are shipping costs determined?
The shipping costs for an order consist of the weight or volumetric weight of the order, order processing, packaging materials and the selected delivery method. The shipment is priced according to the delivery option you have selected, the country of destination and the weight or volumetric weight (1 m3 = 250 kg).

Products with a high volumetric weight include products that are light but take up a lot of space and packaging material, such as chips, dried bread, flakes, dishes, glass products, and some seasonal products, such as Christmas lights and straw decorations.

The material in which the product is packaged also affects its weight. For example, a product containing 400g of jam weighs 714g when weighed, including the glass jar. In addition, the product needs packaging material around it to arrive intact, which also increases the weight of the product.

4. How long will it take to receive my order?
It normally takes 1-14 days for the order to arrive at the recipient, depending on the selected delivery method, order processing time, and product availability.
The delivery time of an order consists of two parts; the order processing time and the shipment transportation time. The normal order processing time is 1-3 business days. We do not process orders on weekends or holidays. You can see delivery time estimates on the Deliveries page.

5. Where can I track the progress of my package?
When your order is ready, we will send you a confirmation email with a tracking link. Please also remember to check your spam folder, as sometimes automatically sent emails go directly there.
