Be prepared for delays in transport before Christmas

Christmas is fast approaching and so is the so-called "package season". This means that there is an unprecedented number of packages moving around the world at this time of year, and Transport Companies are delivering them to recipients as fast as they can.

The number of packages may cause congestion at the parcel terminals, and there may not be room for all shipments on the first plane or truck. It is good to remember that the estimates given by transport companies are for deliveries under normal conditions and do not include delays caused by congestion. In rare cases, the transport time can even double during the worst rush.

For this reason, we recommend that you do your Christmas shopping well in advance. Our general instruction is that orders with express delivery should be placed about two weeks before the desired delivery date (if you order fresh bread, place the order by 12 noon on December 15. We will send the bread on December 19),

and orders with standard shipping must be placed three weeks before the desired delivery date (if you order fresh bread, place the order by 12 noon on December 8th. We will send the breads on December 12th).
