65% cotton, 35% cotton. This hand towel features the Unikko pattern.

The towel is made of terry cotton, containing 65% organic cotton and 35% recycled cotton. The recycled fibers come from closed-loop production, where textile waste generated during the manufacturing of Marimekko collections is used as raw material for new Marimekko products.

Unikko, symbolizing creativity, was born at a time when floral patterns were scarcely seen in Marimekko's collections. However, Maija Isola was inspired by the floral theme and decided to design an entire series of new types of floral patterns.
