Stearin can be used as is or mixed with paraffin, and is also used to make firecrackers and roses.
Candles made from stearin alone are hard, pure white, slow burning and non-dripping, making them ideal for making long and narrow candles. The amount of stearin in cast candles is between 30-50%. The right mixture ratio is usually found by experimenting.
Melting temperature about 70 degrees. Can be dyed with candle dyes.
