Marimekko Kaika Mini Unikko cosmetic bag, red, white

The Kaika cosmetic bag is made of thick cotton and features the Mini Unikko pattern. The fabric, printed in Helsinki, has a dirt-repellent treatment. The bag closes with a zipper and has a nylon lining inside.

Marimekko's famous Unikko pattern was created in 1964, a time when the design house's collections predominantly featured abstract patterns. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting with this organic theme and designed an entire series of floral patterns. Today, the iconic flower symbolizes creativity.
